DSA for all

DSA for All is a slate running for the DSA national convention, made up of members involved in campaigns across the chapter. We are united in our commitment to building local power by meeting and recruiting people where we live and work, by showing up and throwing down for communities under siege, and by continuing to fight for and win state power to implement a socialist agenda. We are committed democratic socialists. We believe DSA is the only organization in the US capable of turning ordinary people into history-changing organizers. But we need more members, more democracy, and more clarity. That’s what we’re here to fight for.

Our organization must be prepared to move millions to defeat fascism, build socialism, and win working class power at all levels of society. DSA is the vehicle that will build power for the working class and win socialism in our lifetimes. To do this, we need to be a genuine mass political party—a DSA that is bigger, more democratic, and more effective. An organization that anyone can hear about, understand, join, and learn to organize in. A party run by and for our members. A party for the multiracial working class. A party that wins. We need a DSA for all members, a DSA for all people, and a DSA fighting for all.

Here at home in the DMV, we’ve seen what happens when we struggle together: renters organizing to stay in their homes, socialists winning office and wielding power on behalf of our class, workers unionizing and striking for better working conditions, communities rallying to protect trans lives and immigrant families, and public campaigns that build lasting political power. But we’ve also seen the dangers of this moment: rampant inequality, targeted ICE raids, transphobic violence, climate emergencies, and a cowardly political establishment unwilling to fight capital or stand up to fascism. This urgency is only made greater as Trump attacks federal employees, immigrants, Palestinian organizers here and in Gaza, our trans siblings, and our basic freedom to govern ourselves.

Metro DC DSA has shown that it’s possible to build real power grounded in local struggle and oriented toward national transformation. Now is the time to scale that vision nationwide.

That is why we are running to represent you at the 2025 DSA National Convention. We believe that socialists must lead. As millions take to the streets, an organization dedicated to mass politics with a clear analysis can harness this energy and win socialism in our lifetimes. We must build that organization.
